Hi! I’m Megan…and I don’t eat perfectly.
Like many of my clients, I have suffered from anxiety (since childhood), have experienced the health-related effects of chronic stress, and have felt powerless against sugar cravings. Believe it or not, I used to eat a dozen doughnuts on the way home from work and couldn’t resist the temptation of chocolate chip cookies.
When I was a kid I used to analyze the nutrition information on the side of cereal boxes and wondered what it all meant. I didn’t really understand it back then, but my curiosity led me to examine how my own food choices affected my health, which eventually blossomed into a career that I love.
What I discovered is that the journey to better health doesn’t happen overnight… it is a process of progress that includes slip-ups, setbacks, and learning what foods are best for your unique health needs. Small changes made over time eventually lead to a BIG transformation.
Many women believe that being healthy and fit is too complicated and too much effort. And yeah it DOES take effort (anything worth having isn’t easy), but it doesn’t have to be complicated. Being healthy doesn’t have to be hard. However, because nutrition is a science that is constantly evolving, it can be difficult to make sense of it all. I’m a total over thinker, so I know all too well how easy it is to get in your own way.
I’m here to simplify your journey to better health, and find solutions to fix the underlying cause of your symptoms, and help you discover the best way of eating for your individualized health needs so that you can live a vibrant life and feel your best.

I live with my husband (who loves to cook…lucky me) and our two teenage kids in New Jersey
I hold a world record in powerlifting for my age and weight class (weight lifting is great STRESS RELIEF)
My favorite chores are decluttering my house and vacuuming
My least favorite chores are cooking and food shopping (and also washing dishes…)
My favorite foods are peanut butter, bananas, and dark chocolate
I have a Mary Jane shoe obsession
My favorite place in the world is New York City

As a licensed and board-certified clinical nutritionist I am passionate about empowering women to be vibrant, strong, and healthy.
After earning a BA in Communications from Montclair State University, I participated in a Didactic Program in Dietetics at College of Saint Elizabeth, and completed the Health Coach Training Program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York City where I studied a variety of dietary theories and effective coaching methods.
I am a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Master of Science degree in Human Clinical Nutrition, am a Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS) through the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS), a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, and am a proud member of the American College of Nutrition.
