Do you ever look at the nutrition label on the packaged food that you buy?
If so, what do you pay attention to the most?
The fat grams? The protein? The carbs?
While it IS a good idea to be mindful of how many calories are in a serving and what the macro breakdown is, what I look at FIRST is the ingredient list. It doesn't matter how many calories are in the food you are eating if those calories consist of garbage. The ingredients are what matters.

After you have looked over the ingredient list and it seems like a decent product, THEN go ahead and glance at the other details. But FIRST, know what is in it.
